Running Stitches A Quilting Cozy Carol Dean Jones Books
When I reviewed the first book, Tie-Died, I stated I was disappointed that we did not find answers to all the little extras in the book, like what happened to the quilt, or if there was anything in it, what happened to the person arrested for the murder etc. however, all this is answered in this book. I loved reading the last book because the characters were so great. This time is no exception. All the new characters are just as great, and we find out more about the back story for some of the original characters in Tie Died. The characters drive the story. Even if there was not a murder or mystery, this would be a book very worth reading. I especially loved reading about all the different quilt blocks and the possible history behind some. I had heard some of these stories about the blocks before, and hope there is some truth in them. This is definitely a book worth reading, and I can not wait to read the next one. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.Product details

Running Stitches A Quilting Cozy Carol Dean Jones Books Reviews
This is the second book in this series and I enjoyed it very much . I love the characters and the story was great . The hunt for Andy's daughter was suspenseful had a great ending. I'd be surprised if the real life justice system would be as lenient with the "walking away" from prison but it makes a good read in this book. Waiting to start on number three.
A delightful romantic mystery that ended much too abruptly! The closing left questions that might be answered in the next of the series, if I ever find that particular volume.
I enjoyed this book . It kept my interest and had me reading with anticipation of what would happen to Caitlen.
Wonderful story! Touches on the lives of several characters. Humor, drama, educational, and creative. Can't put the book down. Excellent!
Just finished reading this second cozy quilting book depicting the adventures of Sarah Miller and all her delightful friends in and around Cunningham Village. My fervent hope is that Ms. Jones will continue to keep me entertained with more interesting, heartwarming tales of Sarah's adventures with just the right amount of mystery thrown in to keep me from being able to put her book aside for long. More please!
As a quilter myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the stories pertaining to the quilt blocks. What a wonderful way of learning to quilt and the names of the blocks. Loved the entire story and the fact it carried on from the last book. Hope there is a continuance of these two.
Running stitches is the second book I've read from this author and it continues the story of Sarah, a sixty-something woman who moved to a retirement community. Fearful and slightly unhappy at first, Sarah is now at a place in her story where she is quilting, has made some wonderful friends and now seeks to help one of them find a missing daughter. The story also weaves a new love for Sarah, who has remained a widow for many years, a family reunion for one of Sarah's new dear friends, a new baby, a mysterious key... The book brims with joy as the characters go through their daily lives and Sarah seeks to solve the various mysteries presented to her.
This author has created a world, a community, that you will want to return to again and again. It ranks right up there with the Mitford series. Enjoy!
